Natural Gas Rebates

This year, AGN’s natural gas network is offering a variety of rebates to its South Australian customers. To learn more about each of these offers, along with the associated terms and conditions and details on how to claim them, please refer to the links provided below. The 2024 Natural Gas Rebate Campaign Period has been in effect since 1 January 2023 and will end on 31 March 2024, with specific deadlines for claiming.

Australian Gas Networks Rebate 1 (New build dwellings in SA):

These rebates are applicable to newly constructed buildings in South Australia that are either currently under construction or have recently been completed:

Please note that no rebates are provided for natural gas hot water systems or indoor kitchen appliances installed in new builds. Additionally, AGN’s special connection bonus does not apply to gas connections for new builds.

Australian Gas Networks Rebate 2 (Existing build dwellings in SA):

There are two offers available.

1. Offers for customers already connected to gas
These rebates are available to homeowners in South Australia with established builds who are already connected to natural gas, meaning their gas supply has been in place for more than 6 months. This category also includes properties undergoing renovations and reconnecting to natural gas.

2. Offers for New Connection Customers
These rebates are open to existing homeowners in South Australia with established builds who are either in the process of connecting to natural gas or have recently connected to natural gas. A “new connection” refers to a gas supply that has been in place for 6 months or less. These offers are exclusively for first-time new gas connections and do not apply to properties reconnecting to natural gas or properties where a new gas line has been added to an existing gas connection.

How to claim your rebate:

Glow is a participating rebate supplier. We will complete the natural gas work you require (including supply and/or installation of your natural gas appliance/s) and manage the rebate claim for you. You’ll receive the rebate as a discount from us, so you don’t have to worry about filling out any forms – easy!

Our gas ducted heating systems comprise a heating unit connected to a series of outlets via a system of ducts. The outlets and ducts are strategically placed throughout your home, either in the floor or ceiling. The position of the heating unit depends on your house. The ducts which connect the outlets to the heating unit are neatly tucked away out of sight. A wall controller lets you set up your temperature for the whole home or even down to a single room.
